About SCI

As the owner of SouthCottage Industries, I'm excited to bring the resources of my innovative technical and software research team to Northern New York.  

I have more than 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience in academic areas ranging from elementary math and english through to Physics, Calculus, and Differential Equations.  In 2011, I graduated with my MS Ed degree from SUNY Geneseo.  Shortly after that, I ran a small tutoring business for 8 years.  In 2019, I closed the business and began to teach at SUNY Polytechnic Institute as an adjunct instructor.

In 2024, my husband and I opened SouthCottage Industries in response to the great need for local small business engineering research teams.  We are working with other engineers to increase the accessibility of cutting edge research to public and military personnel alike.  As a member of the engineering community, we look forward to serving local, state, and federal businesses and government organizations.  It is our vision to share products with our local community and government with the hope of improving the growth and economical stability of our community.
